    When is the Tournament held?

        The tournament will be held the first weekend annually in June.

    When do we check in?

        Archer check-ins will take place Friday evening before shoot on Saturday at 7:00 am for flight 1 and 8:00  for flight 2.

    When does registration start?

        2024 Registration opens March  27th at 9:00 a.m. MDT.

    How much does it cost?

        Adults - $ 120.00

        Children 9 & Under $ 50.00


    Are families welcome?

        Yes, The Oilman's shootout is a family event. We have a kids corner with face painting, sandhill and bouncy castles and more.

    Is there somewhere to camp?

        Camping will be available on site, please refer to the Directions page for our new location.  Cost will be $30.00/night or $50.00 for the weekend which is payable on-site.

    Is there somewhere to eat?

        Yes, We have all day concessions and BBQ on site.


        On Saturday and Sunday mornings we have an all you can eat pancake breakfast available for $10.00.  Tickets are available on site.

    Is this a charity event?

        Yes, it is! All proceeds from the event got to charity. 


        Vision: To run Canadas largest, most fun, family friendly competitive archery shoot all for the purpose of raising funds for charities that make the world a better place for those in need.

    Is there a limit to the number of entries?

        We have a 600 Archer limit on a first come first serve basis.

    Am I able to cancel after signing up?

        Money back cancellations are available to until May 15th.

    Where is the Oilman's Shoot held?

        Visit our Directions page to view this years location for out event.



    What happens if the weather is bad?

        The event will run rain or shine. There is no reimbursement for poor weather.

    Are walk on's allowed?

        Yes, walk on's are allowed, but you must have an approved pass before entering the course.
